Hallmark Dealer’s Notice

In the UK, any person that deals with precious metals must display on their premises and website the Hallmarking Act 1973 notice as approved by the British Hallmarking Council.

Please find this Hallmarking Dealer’s Notice below; that is valid as of November 2020.

Any silver items weighting over 7.78g must be hallmarked by law - in case of ear rings it is relevant by piece (ie not the weight of the pair). Whether a piece in the store is hallmarked or not is mentioned in the product description and specification for your convenience.

If any product marked as not hallmarked, but you wish it to be, please e-mail me with your request but bear in mind that the hallmarking is officially completed by the Assay Office and it takes time.

Due to Brexit, certain rules changed regarding shipping to the European Union. I endeavour to make clear on each of the product pages where the jewellery can be shipped to and which kind of hallmark the product has, if any. However, it is such a complex matter that in case your purchased jewellery is not legal to be sent in its current state to you, I will be in touch with you with options and rest assured will issue the refund as quick as possible if hallmarking cannot be resolved.

Please check out the delivery information page before ordering.
